A 3rd party platform

What are we looking for in a President? What is important to us as a people? Obama created quite the stir by his "change" mantra, and I am very much in agreement with him. However he is not change but status quo or worse. Let's face it folks! There is no candidate that represents change. They all represent the same. A different flavor only. Let's look at the facts.
McCain - big government, a Senator, big purse, and the Republican establishment backing him.
Clinton - bigger government, a Senator, big purse, and the white, female, old timer Democratic establishment and the Clinton machine
Obama - biggest government, a Senator, huge purse, and the black, educated, young Democratic establishment.

Where are the average American people being represented? You are being told to choose one of these options. I am sick and tired of choosing these loser options. They don't care about me, and quite frankly they don't care about you. They care about their power, their votes, their 'establishment'. Let me give you some examples of what I am talking about.

They say there are problems fuel prices but the cause of this is our government. We bail a country (Kuwait) out of being taken over by another country and we pay the entire bill and don't even get a discount for oil. We don't even get their respect. Our government taxes and retaxes fuel so that they did nothing to acquire, produce, or transport. All they did was tax it.

They say that medical costs are out of control and one way to fix this is having the government take over medical care. Before we give them more control of our lives, shouldn't they show they can handle what they already have. For instance, they have full control of Medicare and Social Security. Do we really want to give them healthcare also? If we do, or they take control forceably, where will healthcare go. Benefits will be restricted, only politicians, the rich, or specific constituents will be able to afford or have access to advanced care. Show me another country that this is working better than our current health care system. There are things that need to be addressed but not by turning the whole thing over to a government that is out of touch with reality. An easy fix would be to put our government officials on the same healthcare program that our Social Security, Medicare, and Military personnel are benefitting from. For that matter, I think that might be a good place to start with Retirement programs also.

Immigration is another hot topic. How out of touch can these 3 senators be to even consider allowing illegal aliens citizenship ahead of legal aliens that are awaiting due process? No one has even voiced the possibility of moving the legal aliens to citizenship. Why are those in power so intent on adding the illegals to the citizen base. We would be better off leaving them as illegals and processing them appropriately. The argument I have heard is one of two. 1. We need them or 2 they will return. If we need them then hire them and process them the way that makes them legal. We have thousands if not millions of applicants now that would love to help fill our needs. They will return? Safeguard the boudaries. Each of these 3 have taken a sworn oath to protect us and the Constitution of the United States.
So do your job. You can have a slumber party and pizza party to make a statement. Make a more impressive one and do something to help us, the People. I was so unimpressed!

What about States rights?!
What about Judicial accountability?! Did you watch the nomination process.? I could relate to Mrs. Obama. I was ashamed of what I saw. And that was her party. I hear them (politicians) say "no litmus test". But that was the entire questioning. What would you do if...? What do you think about...?

We the People of the United States of America are getting screwed! We are not being represented by either of the 2 major parties. The only way to become a factor in the party is to sell yourself to the party. By the time you come out the other side of that tunnel you are part of the party. We need someone to represent We the People. Our Governement is becoming so corrupt at its core that if you take the time to read the Declaration of Independence today, parts of it are applicable! Before we reach that point I want us, We the People of the United States of America, to come together and form a 3rd party to represent us. This party is open to any color, ethnic, or religious person. The only requirement is that you are a citizen of this country. I don't care if you are a multi=millionaire or on welfare. There are way too many areas that overlap. This party's core is the Constitution of the United States as it is plainly written and the Declaration of Independence.
All men (and women) are created equal and shall be treated as such.
The rule of law is the rule. If you don't like the law as it is plainly written, then we work towards changing it.
Nothing hidden from We the People. We will have an transparent government.

I cna go on, but I want to hear from people. I want to know what you think, and where you stand, and what you would want to see in a new party. We the People have changed history time and again by standing up to the status quo. When our Government tried to give itself a secret pay raise, We the People, stopped it. When our Government tried to slip an immigration bill that we objected to, We the People, stopped the bill. We the People, have the power, for now, to make changes to our country and our government. But those in power are not stupid. We stopped the secret pay raise but did not stop the automatic pay raise. We stopped the Immigration Bill, but they are still working on slipping something through. We should not have to fight our government. Our government is suppose to represent us and our interests, not theirs. Talk to me, and let's see if we can make some changes for us and our children and our children's children. Maybe the American dream (anyone can be President) is still alive.
